Privacy

This notice explains how personal data is handled on mariovillarejo.com, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection and Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data is collected

This website has no forms, accounts or newsletter sign-up. The only personal data processed is what you choose to send by email to hello@mariovillarejo.com: usually your name, email address, organisation, role and the content of your message.

Like any web server, the hosting provider automatically records basic technical data when a page is requested (such as IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type) in server logs, for security and to keep the site running.

3. Why it is used, and on what legal basis

Your data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling, and is not added to any mailing list.

4. How long it is kept

Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. If a working relationship follows, it is kept for the length of that relationship and afterwards for the periods required by law (for example, Spanish tax and commercial record-keeping obligations). If no working relationship follows, it is deleted within 12 months of the last contact. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period, in line with its own retention policy.

5. Who it is shared with

Your data is not sold, rented or shared for marketing. It is only disclosed where required by law.

The website and the hello@mariovillarejo.com mailbox are hosted by Webempresa, a hosting provider based in the European Union, which acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement.

6. Your rights

You can, at any time and free of charge, ask to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mariovillarejo.com with the subject "Data protection request". You may be asked for information to confirm your identity. A reply will be sent within one month.

If you believe your data has not been handled correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD) at aepd.es.

7. Cookies, analytics and fonts

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising or social media plug-ins. Fonts are hosted on the same server as the site, so viewing a page sends no requests to third parties such as Google Fonts. For this reason no cookie banner is shown.

8. Changes to this notice
